Chakra Points: The Seven Energy Centers of the Body

#1. Base Chakra: Located at the very base of your spine, this chakra relates to stability and security. This grounding energy center helps us keep our feet firmly on the ground and our mind focused on physical & creative matters. When this chakra is balanced we experience health, prosperity, security, and dynamic presence.

#2. Sacral Chakra: Found about two inches below your belly button, this chakra relates to creativity, joy, and enthusiasm. When this chakra is balanced it allows us to sense fluidity, depth of feeling, sexual fulfillment, and the ability to accept change.

#3. Solar Plexus Chakra: Situated at the center of your diaphragm, this chakra relates to personal power, expansiveness, and inner growth. When healthy, this chakra brings us energy, effectiveness, spontaneity, and non-dominating power.

#4. Heart Chakra: Found directly in the center of your chest, and relates to love, devotion, and higher emotional being. A healthy fourth chakra allows us to love deeply, feel compassion, and have a sense of peace and centeredness.

#5. Throat Chakra: Set at the base of your throat, above the collarbone, this chakra relates to creativity, higher thinking and communication. When healthy, this chakra helps us relate to the world through vibration.

#6. Brow Chakra: Centered in your brow, above and between your eyes, this chakra relates to intuition, clarity, and meditation. When healthy it allows us to “see the big picture.”

#7. Crown Chakra: This point is atop and in the center of your head, and relates to unity with the whole and higher consciousness. When developed, this chakra brings us knowledge, wisdom, understanding, spiritual connection, and bliss.
